LVN TO BSN PROGRAM OUTLINE General Education requirement met. Students in this pathway can complete the BSN program within 4 semesters (and a three week LVN to BSN transition course), assuming maximum credit granting for nursing and GE courses listed in the table below. All students electing to enroll in the LVN to BSN Advanced Placement track must take and pass the admission course called RN 180 Nursing Advanced Placement Transition Theory & Lab Course. It is a 5 unit, 120 hour course that evaluates the student’s readiness to be eligible for enrollment into the Advanced Placement pathway. The student must demonstrate the required knowledge and skills to complete this course successfully. All students must complete before starting any professional courses.

LVN TO BSN PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY Completed an LVN/LPN Program (GPA 2.5 or higher) Active LVN License Worked as an LVN/LPN for one full year, full time, within the last three years OR recently graduated from an LVN/LPN program (within one year at the time of application). TRANSFER CREDIT APPROVALS All Official Transcripts are required Transfer Credit Request Form must be submitted to review official transcripts.
