A review of infection control and standard and transmission-based precautions is covered. Emphasis is on basic Thoracic Viscera, BonyThorax,UpperLimb,andShoulderGirdleimaging.Considerationwillbegiventotheproductionofimages of optimal diagnostic quality. Coursemethodswillincorporatelectures,demonstrations,imageanalyses,positioninglabpracticum,and self-paced study using multimedia programs. Consideration will be given to the production of images of optimal diagnostic quality. Coursemethodswillincorporatedemonstrations,imageanalyses,andpositioninglabpracticum.Studentsmust demonstratecompetencyinpositioningskills, equipmentmanipulation,andradiationprotectionbefore performingtheseskills under direct supervision in the patient care setting. 288
